Mission: Learn 日本語 (this time it's personal)

Learning Japanese: This time it's personal

For way too long I've procrastinated in learning a language that I wanted to know out of both curiosity and because a lot of the stuff that I find personally cool are tied to that language and the people that use it natively.
I'm not going to lie, I've slacked so hard that my Japanese is best to be academically passing but useless.

So here's my plan that I hope I manage to stick with while doing everything else with a focus on grammar along with kanji memorization.
The reason is because most natives make a focus on kana (ひらがなとカタカナ) and pronounciation - which is very true because it makes reading and
oral comprehension very much at the forefront on the other hand, since I would like to be proficient in matters that require knowing some legal terms,
financial terms, and investing terms (as well as silly portmantaus and internet slang that are unique to Japanese internet communication), I have to push a bit further than what is standard so grammar is key to internalizing the Japanese language and mind as much as how learning Latin is for English, Spanish, French, and any Latin derived language in Europe as learning Latin improves your English grammar and comprehension.

Step 1. Tae Kim's Guide To Japanese Grammar.

This book is electronically available for free but I'll be buying a copy to support the man.
